Interior Design Clients From Hell
It seemed a normal day, when the lady said Arnold Art from the beginning to ask if someone could help with the design of their new rooms.
But then again, everything seems pretty normal, when a customer first calls from hell. If there is only a reliable projection of these types of customers, would soon find himself in the long term hang up the phone! But no such luck.
Interior Designer as a marriage counselor
After an initialDiscussion and the usual on-site visit with Mrs. Arnold (name changed), it became clear that something strange. Directed not to speak with her husband around the inside of the bedroom and dressing room. However, we have followed the instructions that produces mood boards and offered to customers, but we started a little 'suspicious when our plans for the day in which Mr. Arnold was ordered out of town.
After Ms. Arnold gave us a check for depositWe ordered the payment in the materials, but a few days later, an angry Mr. Arnold called to tell us to stop working. It was then that he knew nothing of plans for his wife and, of course, were not a surprise birthday for him. He was angry that his wife had spent "his money", and it was clear that a number of marriage, probably (not before) was being prepared.
In short, we were in the midst of a disintegrating marriage captured. The woman took off, finally, manInterior work and do not want to cancel the payment by check. We ended wasting a lot of time with Arnold's, but fortunately we are not so bad at the end of the bag!
Interior Design Thief
Each of us has probably experienced interior designers to borrow the potential customer, the fabric sample books or catalogs will. Unfortunately, a percentage is a designer, as the public library, you can use to borrow books and then buy elsewhere. SometimesThe books never come back, but you can ask the debtor of a financial deposit to ensure that they do.
However, it was the worst, we got a client who borrowed three books on Friday and left a check-in storage. The customer said he would be back when three days later and we deposit the check in the grinder, rather than bank it.
Unfortunately, two weeks later, with the customer long gone, we discovered that there was a book of two models of tissue, clean cut. We thenreviewed the other books, and were treated with the same lack of respect.
If only the lady had fabric designs of the application – which would have for free!
Stock Junkie
A job that we created from scratch as a home "model" for a customer, because they are usually a good idea of what they want to have to look into their new home.
One day, Freddie action. He had just bought a house with three floors of a large settlement is still built in the vicinity of York, and wasonly a few doors down from the home show. The task was simple. "I want my house to show how that would look at home" and possibly the job would be easy.
Unfortunately, Freddie had already visited a well-known high street store financial Catalog and started buying furniture and accessories that looked nothing like the look he wanted. We have had several visits in her new home and every time there was a more "stuff" from the catalog itself. We tried to stop wasting hisMoney, but everything that we would propose to look at our catalog to find a cheap or an equivalent.
Our comments fell on deaf ears. The end it was a case of "interior designer or bargain-catalog". Unfortunately, Freddie won romance with his catalog of 300 glossy pages, and we had wasted all our time and effort, and ended with an uncoordinated and ridiculous household and furniture, which is not suited to space available.
